KALAHARI AIR-CONDITIONING – TERMS & CONDITIONS

2. Products & Services
We supply split-unit air conditioners across South Africa. All items are brand new and covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Installation is not included unless otherwise stated.

3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Payments are accepted via PayFast, Mobicred, PayJustNow, and other supported options. Prices may change without notice.

4. Delivery & Liability
We offer free delivery throughout South Africa using trusted courier partners.
Once your order has been handed over to the courier, Kalahari Air-conditioning is not responsible for any loss, delay, or damage that may occur during transit.
Customers are advised to inspect goods immediately upon delivery and lodge any courier-related damage claims directly with the courier company.

5. Warranty & Faults
All air conditioning units sold by Kalahari Air-conditioning are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective manufacturer.

To ensure warranty coverage remains valid:

  • Units must be serviced as recommended by the manufacturer, at the required intervals.

  • Proper surge protection must be used to prevent electrical damage.

  • Units must be installed by qualified and competent installers, with proof of installation available if requested

6. Returns & Refunds
We do not accept returns for change of mind. Returns are only accepted if the product is defective or not as described. See our Returns & Refund Policy for more details.

7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for damages, delays, or losses caused by third-party couriers or by independent installation contractors.

8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.


📄 RETURNS & REFUND POLICY 

RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

We do not accept returns for change of mind. Returns are only accepted in these cases:

  • Product is defective or non-functional

  • Product is not as advertised

Courier Damage Disclaimer
All orders are securely packaged and dispatched via reliable couriers. However, we are not responsible for any damage that occurs during delivery by third-party couriers.

Customers must inspect their parcel immediately and lodge any claims for physical damage directly with the courier company that delivered the item.

Kalahari Air-conditioning will not process refunds or replacements for items damaged in transit.

Defective Items
If the product is faulty (not due to delivery damage), please email info@kalahariairconditioning.co.za within 7 days of delivery. Include:

  • Order number

  • Description of the defect

  • Photos or videos of the issue

Refunds
If approved, a full refund or replacement will be issued. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

Installation Damage
We are not liable for damage caused during installation not performed by Kalahari Air-conditioning or its authorised partners.

All products are quality-checked and securely packed before shipping. We use reputable third-party couriers for delivery.

Courier Damage Disclaimer
Once the parcel leaves our warehouse, we are no longer liable for any damage caused in transit.
Any claims for transit damage must be lodged directly with the courier company. We will provide any supporting documents you may need to assist with your claim.

Defective Products
If your unit is defective due to manufacturing faults (not courier damage or installation), contact us within 7 days at info@kalahariairconditioning.co.za with:

  • Order number

  • Description of fault

  • Supporting photos or videos

If approved, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.
